Jeremy Nedd is een choreograaf en performer, geboren in Brooklyn (New York). Hij woont momenteel in Basel, Zwitserland. Zijn voorstellingen richten zich op de processen van het ontleden, demystificeren en hercontextualiseren van zijn onderwerpen om definities van relevantie en eigentijdsheid te confronteren.
Nedd heeft gewerkt bij Semperoper in Dresden (2010-2012) en Ballett Basel (2012-2016). Hij was geassocieerd met het Schauspielhaus Zürich als gastperformer, waar hij samenwerkte met Trajal Harrell. Nedd heeft zijn eerdere producties gerealiseerd en gepresenteerd bij onder andere de Kaserne Basel, ROXY Birsfelden, Arsenic – centre des arts scéniques contemporains (Lausanne), Palais de Tokyo (Parijs) en Münchner Kammerspiele. In 2023 ontving Jeremy Nedd de Swiss Performing Arts Awards.
Sinds enkele jaren werkt Jeremy Nedd samen met het Zuid-Afrikaanse Pantsula-collectief Impilo Mapantsula. Samen hebben ze drie voorstellingen gecreëerd: The Ecstatic, how a falling star lit up the purple sky en blue nile to the galaxy around olodumare.
